JTGJS hosts first Kochi Edition successfully
Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) hosted its first edition at Kochi from November 24-25-26 at the ADLUX Convention Centre Angamally, Kochi, Kerala with the best exhibitors and visitors from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India.
After successfully hosting 7-days long, 9th edition of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) in July at Mumbai, the only thematic B2B gems and jewellery show sailed south with the JTGJS Kochi edition. The Kerala themed Kochi edition was hosted at the ADLUX Convention Centre Angamally, Kochi, Kerala in presence of crème-de-la-crème of the gems and jewellery industry. JTGJS Kochi show was inaugurated traditionally as ladies played traditional music and elephants welcomed the chief guests and visitors at the show.
The inaugural ceremony of JTGJS Kochi was attended by Mr. A K Nishad, Director, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Mr. T. S. Kalyanaraman, MD, Kalyan Jewellers and Mr. Rajesh Kalyanaraman, Director, Kalyan Jewellers, Mr. P. D. Jose & his team from Joyalukkas, Mr. Varghese and team from Jos Alukkas, Mr. Suhas of Bhima Jewellers, Mr. Anto from Josco, K Surenderan, The All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association (AKGSMA) State Secretary, Adv Abdul Nazar, State Treasurer AKGSMA & Coordinator KJACC, Mr. Govind Verma, CMD of Jewel Trendz and Mr. Shamal Pote, Director of Jewel Trendz amongst other dignitaries from the gems and jewellery industry.
The Kochi edition of JTGJS was hosted just before the onset of the wedding season that saw presence of retailers from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and other parts of the country. The show was visited by the likes of Kalyan Jewellers, Bhima Jewellers from Bangalore and Madurai, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, Jos Alukkas, SKTM team along with other prominent retailers of India. Association representatives from neighbouring states of Kerala as well as from other states also made their presence felt at the Kochi JTGJS. The show was well appreciated by the visitors for exuberant collection exhibited during the show.
The Kochi edition was held at the Kerala’s largest fully air conditioned ADLUX Convention Centre with a built up area of one lakh sq.ft. The theme of the show, appropriate lighting and acoustics all this factors helped the hosts of the show achieve magnificent success at their very-first edition of Kochi. The hosts of the show ensure that multi cuisine food and beverages from 5-Star Hotel was offered to the participants, key retailers and the VIP guests visiting the show. The third day of the show was celebrated as traditional day where every participant sported the traditional Veshti or Mundu i.e. South Indian dhoti and women were seen in Kasavu sarees or ethnic South Indian sarees.
The JTGJS Kochi show brought the best manufacturers and wholesalers from all-over India to make the first Kochi show of JTGJS memorable. With 60 plus exhibitors at the Kochi Show, every exhibitor ensured to display their latest collection at the show. Among the regular exhibitors, new exhibitors Kalinga Jewellers of Mumbai, Jineshwar Jewellers from Chattisgarh, Bannganga Jewellers, G. M. Gold, Master Chain Pvt. Ltd from Mumbai, Ashlyn Chemunoor Instruments Pvt. Ltd from Thrissur, Sri Rishabh Jewellers from Ernakulum, Mumbai’s Ambika Jewellers, Annoraa Creations and Sha Gold from Thrissur witnessed good business at the Kochi JTGJS. Exhibitors were happy with the consistent footfall on all three days of the Kochi show. As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to all the participants of the Kochi show.
Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) is known for their marketing and promotional activities. JTGJS left no stone unturned to market themselves at Kochi and other cities in South India too. With complete support of AKGSMA; Jewel Trendz promoted the show in South India. AKGSMA arranged meetings for Jewel Trendz with jewellers in nine districts of Kerala to promote the first ever JTGJS Kochi show. After posting nine successful editions in Mumbai and one edition in Ahmedabad, JTGJS hosted an equally successful show in Kochi, Kerala too.
Some of the key highlights of the show include fabricated designer stalls, food & beverage facility at the venue, marketing support for the exhibitors, vaulting facilities by BVC Logistics and shuttle services for visitors. The Kochi show was supported by AKGSMA, Madras Jewellers & Diamonds Merchants Association (MJDMA), India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) and The Bullion & Jewellers Association Delhi with Logistics Partner BVC Logistics. Free shuttle services were offered for to and fro of visitors from key areas within the city to make travelling convenient for the visitors. To ensure hassle-free entry for exhibitors and visitors, JTGJS had launched Jewel Trendz App available on Android and iphones to create entry badges in advance. Free entry and refreshments served throughout the show which made Kochi JTGJS favourite trade show in Kochi.
