Jewel Trendz – Knowledge Partner of IIJW 2015
Adding one more feather to the cap, Jewel Trendz has become the official knowledge partner of 6th edition of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) – an initiative to showcase India’s finest jewellery and their makers at an international level.
The 6th edition of IIJW was inaugurated on 3rd August in Mumbai in presence of Mr. Govind Verma, CMD of Jewel Trendz Pvt. Ltd among the bigwigs of the fashion, entertainment and jewellery industry. The inaugural show had presence of some noted personalities like Bollywood diva, Brand Ambassador of IIJW, Sonam Kapoor, designer-cum-politician Shaina NC, Chief Guest Amruta Fadnavis, Vipul Shah of GJEPC, Sanjay Kothari of GJEPC, Managing Director of India and Middle-east, GIA, Nirupa Bhatt among others.
Jewel Trendz with a motto to give an opportunity to the dynamic industry players and to represent them at a wider platform, became knowledge partner of the 6th edition of IIJW to enhance the gems and jewellery industry. IIJW, organized by Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), was held from 3rd August- 6th August, 2015 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The show witnessed presence of some noted jewellers, designers and spokesperson from key organizations of India and abroad, who took an opportunity to have a word with Mr. Govind Verma. They congratulated him for his outstanding work in IIJW and best wishes for the upcoming 5th edition of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show.
The IIIJW 2015 kicked off with a fabulous line up of stars and celebs on the ramp. The shows were set in ethereal surroundings with gorgeous floral arrangements in shades of pink, white and maroon. Roses and lilies lined the ramp creating a pristine atmosphere for the start of 6th edition of IIJW. Gitanjali Gems Ltd, Moni Agarwal, Aum Monica Kapoor, Shoba Shringar, IIGJ Mumbai and Tanishq presented their creation on the first day of IIJW.
Aum Monica Kapur the brand started by Monica Kapur presented the “Cupid” collection at IIJW 2015. The collection included some mind-boggling necklaces, haslis, earrings, Rani Haars, bracelets, rings and pendants for all occasions. The patterns revolved around nature’s elements along with sun, flowers, peacocks, sea waves and other forms that were trendy, stylish and unique. Shobha Shringar, popularly known for exotic bridal and festive jewellery showcased “The Festivals of India” collection at IIJW platform. The collection was breath-taking mélange of gold and precious stone. Drawing inspiration from regal Rajasthani pieces and the jewellery of the Nizam and Hyderabadi line; the collection embellished with glittering diamonds, impressive Basra pearls had a marked timeless global appeal. Gorgeous Chitrangada Singh opened the colourful show wearing a superbly crafted diamond collar with circular pendants centred with a rubies, haath phool, kada and earrings.
Moni Agarwal’s “Zohrakshi” collection was a unique presentation of timeless classics with a creative modern touch. Creating a sensation on the ramp at the end of the show and looking absolutely gorgeous was beautiful World No 1 Women’s Doubles Tennis Player, Sania Mirza, who confidently glided down the ramp to thunderous applause wearing a shimmering choker with three strands of stunning diamonds and matching chandeliers. The “BETI show” by leading jewellers of the world and featured dazzling line up of stars and celebrities walking on the ramp. The show presented some sensational diamond designs and styles.
