Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show – Generates Better Business Opportunities

With the best participants and visitors from all-over India, the second edition of the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show, Mumbai generated better business opportunities by promoting gems and jewellery products for everyone at the show.
The second edition of the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show held from February 21-22-23, 2014 at Hotel Westin, Goregaon (East), Mumbai opened to a fabulous response by the visitors. With participants from different parts of nation and first time on show, ‘Zaveri Bazaar ki Shan’ lounge gave Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show a boost to keep encouraging better business between the participants and visitors.
Supported by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), Swarn Shilp and BVC Group Logistics, the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show tried to reach more and more people within the industry. IBJA also tried to create awareness about the benefits of membership with the association as well as the projects undertaken by the association at present. The youngest President of the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, Shri MohitKamboj was present at the Cocktail Networking Dinner at the show, where he interacted with the heads of the participants.
The participants at the B2B show consisted of renowned names like Matushree Gold from Bangalore, Royal Jewels from Jaipur, Nishka Jewel Designers from Bangalore, SwarnaShilpi from Ahmedabad and many more. The show was magnificent and innovative with the new product concepts presented by the participants.
Matushree Gold from Bangalore displayed a wide range of Temple and Fusion Temple Jewellery at the show. Ankit Jain, Director of Matushree Gold shares, “We displayed lot of fusion temple jewellery were also displayed to match with the needs of the visitors. Response from the visitors was overwhelming. We have got visitors from all-over India especially South India, where the demand for temple jewelley is high.”
Established 4 years ago, Royal Jewels Jaipur that specialises in Deccan and Jadau Jewellery, had put up products that were elegant and royal. Smita Jain, owner of Royal Jewels shares, “With the changing times, we reinvent the traditional wear by creating fusions of the jewels. This keeps us ahead of others in the market.” With visitors from all-over India, Royal Jewels was very happy with the outcome of the show.
Every stall had something new to offer which lured the visitors and kept them engaged with the participants for longer time. Kalinga’sVaibhav& Abhishek displayed unique collection of handmade jewellery. The range of products displayed at the show consists of Minawork that used lots of Mina colours.
Ritika Chains that participated in any jewellery show for the first time, were very happy with the entire set-up. Amit P Gulecha, Director of Ritika Chains shares, “We are very satisfied with the organisers they have given us a great platform to build our brand. The turnout was outstanding; we have got visitors from Bangladesh, Kerala, Delhi, Raipur, etc.” They had displayed light weight concept as people are seeking more light weight products at reasonable rates due to stagnant market conditions. Chains with Italian looks were in great demand at the show.
The product line presented by the participants like Jewel Darshan, Muthaji Gold, L Jhaverchand, Khushali Jewels, Manglik Jewels, Purvi Gems and Jewellery, Nakoda Jewels, Kaustubh Gold, HardikZaveri, V.J. Jewellers, Purple Silver, Sanskritietc were also some of the well-received participants at the show. Traditional jewellery, Deccan jewellery, Temple jewellery, international designs, designer jewellery was the flavor of the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show. Each and every participant was happy with the grand response and service received by them at the show. Jewel Darshan presented the theme of nature through their exuberant collection. Harish Dave, director of Jewel Darshan shares, “I have been designing jewellery for past 20 years now, and by now I have developed a sense of designs that are in trend presently. Hence, we decided to represent different colours of nature this time at the show. We are very happy with the response of the visitors.”
Established in 1994, SwarnShilpi Ahmedabad participated for the first-time in the show. ShankarlalChoradiya, owner of SwarnShilpi said, “The satisfactory arrangements by the organisers and the visitors from different parts of India have been a wonderful experience all-together at the show. We got to do some good business as well.” They had kept a lot of antique and traditional jewellery at their counter, the reason being the demand for traditional jewellery among women is higher. He adds, “Women are emotionally attached to traditional form of jewellery.”
The ‘Zaveri Bazaar ki Shan’ which included top names like Solanki Jewellers, Jewel Creations, Royal Chains, Unique Chains, Palak Jewellers, Shankesh Jewellers, ShringarMangalsutras, Mark Bangles etc. presented their outstanding collections at their lounge. Shubh Diamonds took this opportunity to launch their exclusive diamond jewellery collection, while Union Chains presented their latest Italian designs in chains. Anand Shah displayed his creations inspired by nature beautifully while Shanti S Seth Jewellers presented their temple jewellery collection exuberantly at the show.
They displayed Nakashi sets, Kundan, Moti and temple jewellery marvellously at the entrance of the show. Their affinity towards developing traditional gold jewellery was reflected well with the products that were ethnic yet appealing to the visitors.
L Jhaverchand jewellers, one of the renowned manufacturer and wholesaler of the industry were also one of the favourite counters at the show. The ethnic jewellery collection displayed at their booth was commendable and was appreciated by all the visitors at the show. The products were rich yet reasonable which brought them some good business.
The show received a grand opening with some of renowned retailers and wholesalers that visited the show from different regions of India. Retailers like Joyalukas, TBZ, Khimjee Jewellers, etc visited the stalls at the show, which added great value to the show.Bhavin Mehta of Khimji Jewellers, Orissa was very contended with the show. ManakDhing of Nice Diamonds also felt that the products at the show were well-presented and he really loved the arrangement. Deepak Bhatia of World Gold Council, India was also happy with the show.
Marketing Head of Queen & I Jewellery, a professional manufacturer, wholesaler and exporter of desired mounting jewellery said, “The show is very good, but I believe space is a concern. It would have turned out to be better if the space was not limited. Due to space concerns all the boots were not given enough exposure. As a visitor there was a great variance in the products displayed at the show.”
Jose D Palikunan, DGM – Jewellery, Joyalukas was also happy with the participants at the show. The show served as an ideal platform for the visitors to get a peek through about new products in the market as well as they interacted with the best of wholesalers and manufacturers of the gems and jewellery industry.
Besides, the show also witnessed wholesalers and retailers from Bangladesh, Delhi, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Salem, Kolkatta, Raipur, Chennai etc. V.G Sanathel, Manager of AVR SwarnaMahal, Salem who visited our show everytime, was there in the second edition of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show, Mumbai as well. He was very happy with the entire arrangement at the show. He said, “We have always loved the show, for great ambience as well as beautiful presentation of different product lines.”
Shri Krishna Diamonds & Jewellery – Bengaluru, Moksh Jeweller – Ahmedadbad, JJ Jewellers – Raipur, R. R Jewellers – Rajkot, SukanrajSHobhachabdSakhariya Jewellers &Saraf – Pune, AVR Kumbakonam Silver Shop – Salem, Shree SalasarBalaji Jewellers Pvt Ltd – Amritsar, etc were some of the names that visited and got some good deals cracking for them during the show. ShailendraNarang of Narang& Sons Jewellers, Karol Baug, New Delhi said, “Show was very satisfying and we got some good deals at the show.”
Chetan Jain of Ambika Jewellery from Bengaluru notified that Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show, Mumbai was even better than the Signature. He explains, “Unlike other show, this show is more peaceful and silent, which allows the visitors to browse through the products at their own pace.” Similarly Gaurav Jain of Natraj Jewellers, Indore said, “The show had variance and it was a delight for the visitors to get so many types of products at a single show.”
The credit for the success of the second edition goes to the aggressive marketing initiatives carried on behalf of the Jewel Trendz Private Ltd. The SMS campaigns across India for each and every participant, well-designed e-mailers, inviting VIP retailers, etc by a special team of Jewel Trendz all added to the triumph of the show. The Bombay Bullion Samachar (BBS) carried the advertisement of the show regularly for 15 days. The special edition of the Jewel Trendz Magazine featured all the participants extensively that gave some good exposure to their products. The show presented a well mix of products that were manufactured by the participants.

The services offered by the organisers in terms of hotel accommodation at Westin, lunch and dinner facilities were well appreciated.
25 big hoardings of many participants were hosted on the main highway that helped the visitors reach the venue as well as it created a perfect ambiance and real value for money deal for all the participants of the show.
The welcome drinks offered to each and every visitor made them happy.
All and all, the second edition of the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery show proved it once again of being one of the best shows that encourages better business and networking within the industry. With the success of this show, people are looking forward to the July show.
