E-retailers offer international shipping of jewellery products

The growing demand of Indian jewellery in the international markets has forced the e-retailers in the country to offer international shipping to their customers in the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, UAE, Australia and many more regions.

Indian jewellery especially handmade jewellery has a large ethnic demand in various countries with sizeable Indian emigrant population in Middle-East, South-East Asian countries, USA, Canada and so on. Not only NRI’s but also lots of international celebrities and clients indulge in buying Indian jewellery as they fashion trendsetters at present.

Bluestone.com is yet another online jewellery store that houses high quality jewellery and accessories also provides with international shipping facilities to US, UK and Australia. Similarly, just two-years-old Velevetcase.com also offers international shipping facilities to many countries. Runit Shah, founder of Velvetcase.com states that the scope of business is significantly higher in international markets. Affirming to the views of Shah, Shringi says, “International shipping instantly multiplies the audience we can reach out to. The ticket size of international order is typically 3-5 times of the domestic buyer, which also makes it a very important to support international shipping. Most of the online stores have tied-up with the best shipping partners to ensure the best facilities to the buyers abroad. Titan Company has tied up with PayPal for payments and United Parcel Service (UPS) for logistics of its international customers, it added. The shipping charges vary from product to product, depending upon the respective country. The e-retailers have high plans of scaling their overseas shipments to maximum number of countries as possible. International shipping facilities have become an essential factor for the buyers abroad.
