8th Edition of JTGJS Gets a Good Start!

The first exhibition of the year 2017, 8th edition of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show got a positive start on first day of 3-day B2B show held from February 3-4-5, 2017 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.

Jungle Themed, 8th edition of the Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) opened to good number of footfalls on the first day of the exhibition held at Mumbai. Mr. A. K. Nishad, Executive Director of Malabar Gold & Diamonds inaugurated the show by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon in presence of Mr. Shantibhai Patel, President of Gem and Jewellery Trade Council of India (GJTCI), Mr. Chetan Thadeshwar, Director of Shringar – House of Mangalsutra and member of GJF, Mr. Mukesh Mehta, President of India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), Mr. Jayantilal Challani, President of Madras Jewellery and Diamond Merchant Association (MJDMA) and Mr. Govind Verma, CMD of Jewel Trendz Pvt Ltd among esteemed exhibitors at the 8th edition of JTGJS.

Mr. Nishad congratulated Mr. Verma and his team for 8th edition of the show and expressed that he has always been thrilled to be part of the show. Mr. Nishad has not missed a single edition of JTGJS. He said, “JTGJS is a single platform in the industry that brings all manufacturer and wholesalers under one roof and provides with space that encourages business and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. It brings in more energy and teamwork in the gems and jewellery industry. Easy access from the airport is an added advantage. JTGJS has elevated the standard of conducting organized show.”

Mr. Mehta believes this edition is going to be very special not only because of its association with IBJA but also JTGJS dared to host their show even before Signature. He said, “I wish all the best to exhibitors and a big thanks to the visitors for taking their time out and visiting the show.” Popularly known as Shanti Kaka, Mr. Patel is also part of JTGJS family and he believes that Jewel Trendz is the best. He congratulated Mr. Verma and expected a great success for the show.

Mr. Challani also gave his best wishes to the 8th edition of the show and said, “I wish that Govindbhai hosts JTGJS Chennai edition with same manufacturer and wholesalers soon.” On behalf of GJF, Mr. Thadeshwar lauded the hard work and sincerity of Mr. Verma that helped the show prosper every edition. Mr. Verma thanked everyone at the inauguration ceremony for their complete support. He said, “8th JTGJS was a big challenge, as post demonetization many exhibitions were either stalled or postponed. But, when I approached the industry, they came ahead in complete support and said we are with you. We want to move towards growth and success of the industry. It gives me immense pride to say that this is the first show of the year in 2017. I hope you keep supporting us further and give us more opportunity to serve the industry.”

With 90 plus exhibitors from all-over India, the 8th show showcased a varied collection which was appreciated by the visitors on the very first day. Retailers from Surat, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chennai, Delhi, etc. visited the show on the first day. We expect more retailers on second and third day of the show. The 8th edition of JTGJS is supported by India Bullion and Jewellers Association, Gem and Jewellery Trade Council of India, The Bullion and Jewellers Association (Delhi), All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation and Madras Jewellery and Diamond Merchants Association.
