7th Edition of JTGJS cheers up all!
India’s first thematic B2B gems and jewellery show, Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) continued to be a favourite B2B destination for buyers as well as sellers in 7th edition of the show on 4-5-6-7th August 2016 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai with 22,500 plus footfalls .
The 7th edition of Jewel Trendz Gems and Jewellery Show (JTGJS) saw an increased number of footfalls this edition. Retailers, jewellery designers and other businessmen from the gems and jewellery industry flooded the Royal themed JTGJS. Spread across 65,000 sq. ft AC hall with 325 plus stalls and 5-star amenities, the show was held on 4-5-6-7th August 2016 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.
The 7th edition was inaugurated by Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon, Mr. Saurabh Gadgil, CMD of PNG Jewellers and Mr. T. S. Kalyanaraman, CMD of Kalyan Jewellers in presence of Mr. Shantibhai Patel, President of Gem and Jewellery Trade Council of India, Mr. Jayantilal Challani, President of The Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants’Association, Mr. Avtar Verma, President of The Bullion and Jewellers Association and Mr. Govind Verma, CMD of Jewel Trendz Pvt Ltd among other dignitaries from the gems and jewellery industry.
Encouraging 7th edition of the show, Mr. Rajesh said, “It has been a pleasure to meet you all and Mr. Govind Verma, who has given us all such a platform. We are proud to be at a show that is helping the industry grow in such challenging times.” Mr. Rajesh have made a point to visit all the editions of the show, he has always appreciated the exhibitors and jewellery displayed at the show. Mr. Gadgil expressed, “I am out of words. I know industry is going through rough phase with so many reforms. However, with JTGJS, let’s start fresh with a positive note. The standard of JTGJS is going up with every edition and I wish them the best for future.”
Adding on to the glamour quotient of the show, Ms. Tandon expressed her gratitude for inviting her at the show and said, “It feels so good to see so much encouragement in the gems and jewellery industry. The time is not favourable for the industry but the industry should keep moving forward for there is always good time after bad time. No women can do without jewellery (smiles) so keep going.”
JTGJS was a not-to-be missed trade show for the retailers with the best manufacturers and wholesalers exhibiting their novel items. The 7th edition saw lots of new manufacturers and wholesalers join the Jewel Trendz family. Most of these exhibitors were first-time participatant in any jewellery exhibition despite of having their presence in the gems and jewellery industry for more than a decade. It was their trust on JTGJS that encouraged them to be part of 7th edition of the show. Their faith on JTGJS was paid off well as they witnessed 22,500 plus footfalls during the show. Retailers from Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkata, Delhi, Amravati, Solapur, Kanpur, Bangalore, Madurai, Chennai and other cities of nation visited the show.
International visitors from USA, Fiji, New Zealand, Malaysia, Australia, etc. too visited the 7th JTGJS and acknowledged that JTGJS provides with a very relaxed environment that makes the buying process simple. With 25k+ footfalls in 6th edition of JTGJS, the current JTGJS has already created new records. The following edition of the show saw some prominent personalities like Jayantilal Challani, President of Madras Jewellers and Diamonds Merchant Association, Vinod Hyagriv of CKC Sons, Joy Alukkas from Joyalukkas, Shantibhai Patel, President of Gem and Jewellery Trade Council of India, A K Nishad of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, representatives of GRT Jewels, Khimji Jewellers, Reliance Jewels, Gurumukh Singh of Neelkanth Jewellers, among other dignitaries from the industry.
